Unbelievable! This year is passing by so quickly. Thank you for all of your efforts supporting your children through their first public performance at Parkcrest. They looked great on stage and really captured the capacity crowd audience. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Kaydence's grandmother for providing us with extra green T-shirts and pants.
I heard Penny Pinchers and Value Village didn't have a green T-shirt in stock on the day before our performance :)
A few highlights of the week:
Monday: a quiet, regular, restful day at school - haven't had one for a couple of weeks!
Tuesday: gingerbread day. We have one batch of gluten/egg free dough coming. We could use a couple batches of regular dough as well. Extra helpers are more than welcome. We are baking after recess (10:30) until lunch. Gym day.
Wednesday: Video conference with the North Pole in the library.
Thursday: gym day
Friday: last day of school before the Christmas break. First day back in 2013 is January 7th.
I wish all of you a really Merry Christmas and a great start to a healthy and happy New Year. Have fun, be safe, and above all, hug your kids a little harder. :) Cheers. Sheila Stokes
